The thing that makes plate more tanky is the calculated EHP you can achieve with it. Low end plate just ends up being lack luster and basically useless at one point or another. The thing though is if you want to run plate and make it effective you have to have an extremely high end set of gear to compensate the build out. Heres my opinion coming from a prior full t6 epic/legendary plate abolisher and having a epic leather offset.Īs far as tankyness is concerned.
